About the Author

Carol HavensCarol Havens has spent the past 40 years working with individuals and families as they have faced incapacitating illnesses and end of life issues.  She has worked as a registered nurse, faith community nurse, health advocate, wellness coordinator, senior health coordinator, court-appointed adult guardian, in pastoral care, and has served as an Executor, Power of Attorney and Health Care Representative.

Carol's experience working with individuals and families through diagnosis, treatment and often death and bereavement, led her to write When The Time Comes...a comprehensive organizer for your loved ones when a medical crisis or death occurs.

In her spare time, Carol enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, woodworking, and traveling.

To ease the difficult and complex tasks and decisions individuals are faced with when a medical crisis or death occurs by providing a resource to document the pertinent information they will need.
